Fascial Stretch Therapy
Fascial Stretch Therapy
(FST) is a dynamic and effective form of assisted stretch therapy that can increase your flexibility, reduce aches and pains, improve your range of motion, workouts, and athletic performance.
FST targets fascia, the most prevalent tissue in the body which is also full of nerves. Fascia is found around muscles, joints, arteries, veins, the brain, and the spinal cord. FST helps reduce pressure and release stored stress in the fascia, improving circulation and flexibility while boosting energy.
FST sessions have kept me on my feet and active - biking, running, and playing tennis. Though I stretch regularly at home and spend more time on a foam roller than I'd like, the FST program has changed this dramatically. FST stretches and lengthens difficult to reach corners of the body and has helped me remain limber and ready for action! Thank you Tiffany!TL
Experience and a high level of service. Fitness is a part of our everyday lives, and we believe that all of us deserve the “celebrity” treatment. With a focus and background in anatomy, physiology, and functional movement principles, our stretch therapist tailors every session to each individual client.
Tiffany Dorau, NASM, FST
Tiffany began her exploration into human well-being at a young age, enrolling in the renowned Smith Stearns Tennis Academy at the age of 13 where she competed against some of the top tennis juniors in the nation. Tiffany fell in love with the process of training and fitness here and after her tennis career, she earned her personal training degree through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
While working at Upstate Spine & Sport, Tiffany was introduced to Fascial Stretch Therapy by the head soigneur of the Hincapie Racing Team. She was immediately hooked by the rapid results in her workouts and general health. She completed her Level 1 Fascial Stretch Therapy Certification in 2018.
Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a unique and pain free method that produces immediate results, sometimes as soon as just one session. The gains made with consistent FST sessions not only aid in physical performance, but also help reduce stress and ease tension from everyday life. Tiffany enjoys being a part of the Greenville active community, whether it’s taking a jog through Falls Park, going to the driving range or fitness class, or sitting on the patio at UP on the Roof with friends and family.
